October 25, 2007

Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH filmed video for the track "Prometherion" this past summer. Shot by acclaimed director Soren (ALL THAT REMAINS, UNEARTH),the clip is a frenetic, savage performance based video that perfectly showcases the band's unrelenting energy and uncompromising vision. Watch the video below courtesy of Headbanger's Blog. (NOTE: Video stream is not available to non-U.S. residents.)

BEHEMOTH has teamed up with Glendale, AZ extreme metal unit JOB FOR A COWBOY for the 2007 "Radio Rebellion" tour, which kicked off last week. The tour affords the band the opportunity to perform a longer set in more intimate settings, ultimately providing fans with "the definitive BEHEMOTH experience". This is also a chance for the band to perform an array of songs from their highly acclaimed new offering, "The Apostasy", which debuted at #149 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

"We've toured U.S. ten times during last few years but we almost never had a chance to headline our own shows," BEHEMOTH mainman Nergal states. "These last few years have been about working our asses off in order to establish our name and build a solid foundation, and now it will finally pay off. It's high time for us to come back to North America and show our fans what a BEHEMOTH set with full production can be."
